Test Strategy & Execution

• Design, implement, and maintain comprehensive test plans and test cases.   
 
 


• Perform manual and automated testing across browsers, devices, and environments.  
 


• Own the end-to-end testing process for releases to ensure high-quality deployments.   


Automation & Tooling

• Develop and maintain automated test suites using Playwright and other modern frameworks.

• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions) for continuous testing.

• Explore and implement AI-driven testing tools to improve coverage and efficiency.

Infrastructure & Environment

• Set up and maintain QA lab environments, including devices, browsers, and virtual machines.

• Collaborate with DevSecOps to ensure test environments closely mirror production.

Bug Management & Triage

• Identify, document, and prioritize bugs in collaboration with engineering and product teams.

• Lead bug triage meetings and drive timely resolution of critical issues.

Compliance & Certification Support

• Support efforts toward achieving security and quality certifications (e.g., ISO 27001).

• Assist in developing and maintaining documentation for certification audits.

• Conduct internal audits and gap analyses to ensure compliance with standards.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement and monitor security controls.

• Support external audit processes with evidence, clarifications, and remediation plans.

Process Development

• Define and evolve QA processes, standards, and best practices tailored to a fast-paced startup.

• Champion a culture of quality across the organization.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Partner with developers, product managers, and customer support to understand requirements and edge cases.

• Assist in reproducing and diagnosing customer-reported issues.

Metrics & Reporting

• Track and report QA metrics such as test coverage, defect density, and release quality. 


• Provide actionable insights to improve product stability and user experience.

Security & Performance Testing

• Design and execute performance tests to assess scalability, responsiveness, and reliability.

• Identify bottlenecks and collaborate with engineering to optimize performance.

• Conduct security testing to uncover vulnerabilities (e.g., input validation, authentication).

• Work with DevSecOps to implement secure coding practices and monitor emerging threats

• Stay current with industry standards and tools for performance and security testing.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

Experience

5+ years in QA engineering, with a focus on web applications.

Technical Skills

• Strong experience designing and executing manual and automated test plans.

• Hands-on with test automation tools (e.g., Playwright, Selenium).

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and test integration (e.g., GitHub Actions).

• Experience with performance and security testing tools and methodologies.

• Exposure to compliance frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001) and audit participation.

• Strong experience running, maintaining, and troubleshooting software rameworks  in Linux operating systems.

Certifications

• Relevant certifications in QA, security, or web technologies are a plus.
